Gunnersbury Park Museum

 

Throughout the centuries, Gunnersbury Park House has been witness to the most sumptuous parties. The magnificent double-height entrance hall, with grand stone staircase and oak balustrades leads through to the Rothschild Rooms. This sequence of opulent interconnecting rooms – comprising of the Drawing Room, Long Gallery and Dining Room – can be used individually or as one large space for up to 200 guests for a standing reception or 180 guests for seated dining.

The Orangery

​

The Orangery is located at the foot of the south lawns overlooking onto vast greenery and a modest pond. It was designed by Sydney Smirke for the Rothschild family. Embracing the height of nineteenth century fashion, the Rothschild’s Orangery is an exemplar of stunning glass architecture that previously housed the family’s plethora of exotic fruits and plants.

Perfect for small events for up to 80, it’s available from Tuesday to Sunday throughout the year. Whether you’re looking for the romantic ceremony venue of your dreams, an intimate dinner to celebrate that special occasion or an evening reception space to impress clients then look no further.

 

The Temple

 

One of the older buildings within Gunnersbury Park is The Temple, which has a long history of lavish entertaining. Built in the eighteenth century by William Chambers for Princess Amelia, daughter of King George II, it sits serenely on the Round Pond where guests enjoy spectacular views over West London extending to the Kew Gardens pagoda.

The Temple is perfect for intimate events up to 50 guests standing during the summer. The Italian Garden is situated directly behind the classical building and with its’ iron rope arches forming an arcade of trelliswork covered in wisteria; it’s the perfect location for any event looking to impress.
